Track 1: Pediatrics

Pediatrics is a branch of medicine that deals with the medical treatment of babies, children, and teenagers. People should seek pediatric care until they are 21 years old, Pediatric age limits have been increasing year after year around the world. A phlebotomist is a medical doctor who specializes in this field

Track 2: Anxiety and Depression in Children

An anxiety disorder may be diagnosed when a kid does not outgrow the concerns and anxieties that are common in early children, or when there are so many fears and worries that they interfere with school, home, or play activities. Anxiety disorders can manifest itself in a variety of ways.

Every child's existence includes times when they are unhappy or hopeless. Some children, on the other hand, feel sad or uninterested in things that they used to enjoy, or feel helpless or hopeless in situations they are able to change. When children feel persistent sadness and hopelessness, they may be diagnosed with depression.

Tracks 3: Pediatric Vaccines and Immunization

Babies are born with antibodies that protect them from diseases because their mothers pass antibodies to them before they are born. Antibodies in breast milk continue to increase in breastfeed newborns. However, the protection is only temporary in both circumstances. Immunization is a technique for preventing the spread of certain diseases. Small amounts of a disease-causing bacterium that has been destroyed or weakened are sometimes used to accomplish this. Sometimes the vaccine is just a small portion of the germ, like a protein or a piece of its genetic information.

  • Chickenpox (Varicella)
  • Diphtheria, tetanus, and whooping cough
  • Hemophilic influenza type b

Track 4: Pediatric Endocrinology

If your child has problems with growing, puberty, diabetes, or other disorders related to the hormones and the glands that produce them, a pediatric endocrinologist may treat your child.

Hormones are molecules that influence the function of other sections of the body. Hormones, for example, control how a child develops and grows. Hormones are released into the bloodstream by endocrine glands like the pituitary gland. Endocrinology is the branch of medicine that investigates these glands and the hormones they produce.

  • Body fat, lipid metabolism and childhood obesity.
  • Gland disorder
  • Sexual dysfunctions.

Track 5: Neonatal and congenital infections

Neonatal infections are infections of the neonate acquired during prenatal growth or in the first four weeks of life. Neonatal infections may be contracted by mother to child transmission, in the birth canal during childbirth, or contracted after birth

Congenital infections damage a foetus in the womb or a newborn baby. They are usually caused by viruses that can be picked up by the baby at any point during the pregnancy and up until delivery. The viruses infect the mother, who can then pass them on to the infant either directly through the placenta or as the baby travels through the birth canal during delivery.

  • Breathing problems.
  • Diarrhea or decreased bowel movements.
  • Low blood sugar

Track 6: Pediatric Nutrition

Infants and children require adequate nutrition to grow and develop properly. Your child's immune system will be strengthened, he or she will be able to maintain a healthy weight, and his or her brain and bone development will be aided by a well-balanced and healthy diet.

Nutritional deficiencies are a primary cause of child mortality. Malnutrition is responsible for over 45 percent of fatalities worldwide. India has the highest number of children under the age of five that die, with malnutrition accounting for half of these deaths. Growth and Development are aided by optimal nutrition.

  • Metabolism/Metabolic Diseases.
  • Nutrition and maternal, neonatal, and child health.
  • Child Nutritional Physiological Phenomena

 Track 7: Pediatric clinical pharmacology

Pediatric clinical pharmacology is a relatively recent specialism in pediatrics in the. It is the scientific study of drugs in children. The research of pharmacological effectiveness in children as well as factors of drug toxicity are covered in training.

Track 8: Pediatric surgical nursing

The nursing care of children aged 0 to 15 years who have surgical difficulties is known as pediatric surgical nursing. Nursing care for children in the aforementioned age range is difficult due to their unique social, psychological, emotional, and physical responses and reactions to illnesses, as well as their incapacity to provide critical history and clues to ascertain diagnosis.

Track 9: Perinatal HIV and breast feeding

HIV transmission from mother to child can happen during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, delivery, or at any time during breastfeeding. Nursing poses a cumulative danger; the longer an HIV-positive mother breastfeeds, the greater the risk of transmission through breastfeeding. antiretroviral therapy

  • lack of energy
  • short-term memory loss
  • persistent skin rashes or flaky skin

Track 10: Children pulmonology

A paediatric pulmonologist is a physician who specialises in children's breathing and lung difficulties. They can teach you and your family how to manage the symptoms of breathing issues, avoid complications, and enhance your child's quality of life..

Track 11: Pediatric autonomy in healthcare

Autonomy refers to a person's ability to act on their own free will. When a youngster has control over his environment, even in little ways, he gains confidence, self-esteem, and independence. For all children, autonomy is an important aspect of learning because it teaches them that they have power over themselves and the decisions they make.

  • Feeling in Control
  • Boosting Self-Esteem
  • Cognitive Growth

Track 12: Onco-pedic Effects and Approaches

With the increased population of children diagnosed with cancer, technology makes changes in pediatric oncology nursing care, treatment and prognosis. The incidence of cancer in childhood is increasing abruptly. It is estimated that the incidence of childhood cancer is increasing by 0.6% per year.

Advances in the treatment of childhood cancer have shown an improvement in prognosis in recent years. Therefore, survivor rate of children with cancer is going to rise in the past decade. The recent trends in the treatment of pediatric oncology say that radiolabeled 131-I-MIBG selectively targets radiation to catecholamine-producing  Neuroblastoma cells. Monoclonal antibodies play a vital role in the treatment of cancer in the field of onco-pedic. They are designed to potentiate chemotherapy, particularly in the setting of relapsed leukemia. Four out of five children diagnosed with cancer can be cured with contemporary cancer therapy. Only a small percentage of childhood cancers, are due to familial or genetic factors and an even smaller percentage of childhood cancer has an identified environmental link.

Track 13: Challenging tropical diseases in child

Neglected tropical diseases are a set of parasitic, bacterial, and viral infections caused by poverty that impact nearly 1.4 billion people globally. NTDs cause about 500,000 fatalities and significant morbidity each year, primarily among impoverished people in low- and middle-income countries. Children are disproportionately affected by a number of conditions as compared to adults.

  • Dracunculiasis
  • Echinococcosis
  • Fascioliasis.

Track 14: Nanotechnology in Pediatric Infectious Diseases

Infectious disease agents such as bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites account for approximately 15 million deaths worldwide, with acute respiratory infections and human immunodeficiency virus being the leading causes. viral infections alone pose significant global health provocations by affecting millions of people worldwide, with a negative impact on both health and socioeconomic growth. Efficient treatment of viral infection is hindered by the development of drug resistance, especially those associated with HIV and influenza

Track 15: Diagnosis & Treatments of Pediatrics Diseases

Every child is entitled to high-quality medical care. As a parent, it's critical to be up to speed on treatment recommendations so you can ensure your child receives the best care available.

Some of the most common childhood ailments and their approved treatments are included in the Pediatrics section below. The medications discussed here are supported by scientific evidence and best practises. However, there could be a reason for your pediatrician's differing advice for your child, particularly if your child has a chronic medical condition or allergy. Any variety of issues will be discussed with your paediatrician.

  • Respiratory infections.
  • Bone and joint infections.
  • Tuberculosis

Track 16: Recent Advances in Pediatric Interventional Cardiology

Several advancements in cardiac imaging have been made, particularly in 3-dimensional echocardiography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and Cineangiography. As a result, the cardiac catheter laboratory can now treat more forms of congenital heart problems than ever before. In addition, lesions that were previously thought to be resistant to interventional therapy can now be treated.
